Eric’s career in finance began in 1968 as a branch manager at the Bank Rothschild, the same year he graduated from the Law University of Paris.
This was his first posting at the bank, starting a career that would last 11 years, including Credit Commercial de France and Chase Manhattan Bank. Eric then moved to Lloyds Bank and over a 15 year period he progressed from assistant Chief Manager to Chief Manager for France.
Eric’s expertise and knowledge across the asset management sector was acknowledged in 2003 when he was appointed Chairman of the Board for Alternative Leaders France, an asset management company for institution investors, until he left in 2012. Between 2007 and 2009, Eric was made Special Adviser of the Minister of Budget in France handling relations with multinational firms.
Between 2009 and 2012 he also served as Special Adviser Private Counsellor of the Labour Ministry. Eric’s professional success was rewarded in 2007 when he became a Knight of Legion d’Honneur.
